My quest to bring community education to my little town. Learning together makes us all grow.

I believe the majority of amazing ideas are inspired by the courageous acts of others.
I have longed to see our small community have the opportunities you commonly find in big cities. Do we need everything? No. But we can sure benefit from an abundance of opportunities regardless of our rural setting.
Another leader in Young Living leader I follow on socials lives in a midwest city. There, their team hosts monthly oil classes for anyone and everyone to attend. I LOVED this concept when I heard about it and have kept it in the back of my mind. Fast forward to December, and I found myself on a weekend retreat with a friend north of Kansas City. We ate at a delicious restaurant that served rolls made by a cooking class. Across the street from their location was a cooking academy that offered ongoing classes. Once again, this idea of an educational space came to mind!
Make it happen
Here we are in the new year, and I found myself discussing the class space idea yet again. Except this time, I also had the added encouragement to put my dreams into action. Why in the world do we stop ourselves so often? Yes, we must make wise decisions that consider our resources and abilities. But if there is something burning inside you to bring about, why are you waiting?? Make it happen!
I'm doing just that. Making it happen. I found out an incredibly affordable space was open in our Incubator Building in town, contacted our City Administrator, saw the space, got the deets, and took the plunge!
Will it work? Yep. You know why? Because I am pairing my idea with the actions necessary to bring success. And you know what? People are excited to have this opportunity in our little town! So, what are you hesitating on? What project do you just need to jump with? Go for it!
Nobody benefits from ideas we fail to make reality.
Blessings,
Whitney
